Lower School Open House
Thank you to those parents that attended our Open House. We enjoyed having the opportunity to share more about the Lower School and connect with you. Below are the slides from the opening presentation given in the auditorium.
The Eagle Way
As you know by now, The Eagle Way represents the mission and common behavior expectations in the Lower School at Graded. Every day, our students are making a conscious effort to follow The Eagle Way and be their best self. You can help by talking with them about what The Eagle Way would look like in your home. Lead a discussion of what it means to be safe, respectful, responsible, and embracing challenges. Prompt the discussion by asking your child(ren) what they would suggest and helping to make sure that they are worded in a positive and supportive way. Click on the images below to see an example of an Eagle Way at Home agreement as well as a blank template that you can print and use.
Car Drop Off Morning Times
For parents using the car drop off in the mornings, please note that the gate opens at 7:45 am and closes at 8:10 am. If you arrive after 8:10, you will need to park in the parkade and walk your child(ren) to class. Please remember start time for all Lower School classes is 8:05 am, so we ask all students to be on campus by 8:00 am so they are ready to start learning at 8:05.
Pre-primary (K3, K4, and K5) Start of Day
We have made a location change for our Pre-primary students to start the day. Students will be able to play in the Pre-primary playground before the school day starts. Supervision will start at 7:45 am on the playground and teachers will arrive for students at 8:00 am. Student response to the new start of the day was very positive this morning!
After School Activities on Wednesdays
Just a reminder that our after school activities on Wednesday end at 4:30 pm. Buses will depart school at 4:40 pm.
