I wanted to remind you about a great resource for your child to practice his or her reading, the Raz Kids Reading website. Please watch the video to learn more about the site and begin using this site to practice reading. Reading a book out loud to an adult at home is a great way to practice your reading fluency. I recommend reading the book more than once and try to read it a little quicker the second and third time and with more expression. After reading the book a few times, you can click on the question mark link and take a reading comprehension quiz. You can read books from any level, but starting on level J and reading several books there is a good place to start. If you feel level J is too easy for you, then move up a level. If you feel level J is too hard, then move down to level I.
