Homework For All

Dear incoming 6th Graders:

We are pleased to welcome you to 6th grade Humanities in August!  
This vacation, we would like to encourage you to read, read, read over the holiday
break.  

• Read the short story, “The American Slurp,” by Lensey Namioka.  
• Here is a LINK to the story online in pdf format. We will be discussing this story in the first weeks of school.

• Vacation Assignments: All Middle School students have vacation assignments. All students should read Refugee by Alan Gratz
• Your 5th Grade teachers haven’t forgotten about you. If you are looking for some extra (optional) work, click here.
• Books and Supplies: Thank you to everyone has already purchased your books through Livro Facil.
• If you have not, please make sure to look at our supply lists on our website for more information and ensure you purchase needed materials before the start of the next school year.
