Aventuras na Literatura Brasileira
As part of the unit Aventuras na Literatura Brasileira, students have been involved in the shared reading of O Leão Adamastor, one of Ricardo Azevedo's many books. Ricardo Azevedo is a renowned Brazilian author and his adventure narrative involving a lion that escaped from the circus has been helping the children identify and learn about scenery and character description in stories in Portuguese.
Students will soon be able to reproduce these features when creating their own
adventure stories in Portuguese.
