News from the Library
Students have been working hard to return all of their books, so they can check out for the summer break! Please return any books that you have checked out, as well. Children may check out the regular limit for their grade, plus parents may check out 10 books. Please encourage your children to have a special, safe place for their library books.
Don't forget we also have a number of digital resources available for you. Log into our lower school library to see links and passwords to our online subscriptions. (Use your own username and password, if you've set that up. You can log in as graded; password: graded, if you have not.) Read or listen to books from Tumblebooks or Bookflix, catch up on the latest magazines, or watch fun educational videos on Brainpop. You might also enjoy the Screen Actors' Guild's free children's literacy site: http://www. storylineonline.net/. Famous actors have recorded videos of themselves reading excellent children's books.
Most importantly, read, read, read (and have fun doing it)!
