Third Grade Makes -A- Difference
Making Graded green(er) with classroom initiatives!
In conjunction with Terracycle, a leading recycling and upcycling company, third grade students will be collecting used writing utensils which Terracycle will then repurpose into innovative products for sale. Help us eliminate waste, divert resources from landfills and earn money for Graded!
All teachers will be provided with a labeled box to collect the following used materials which will be periodically picked up and sorted by the third grade students throughout the year:
We are excited to give each child an opportunity to contribute to the Graded community. Each month, four students from each class will be selected to work toward this initiative. You can support your chlid by discussing the value of community service and helping him/her to develop an appreciation for working together with others.
